Article Writing and Distribution Is the Skeleton Key to Unlocking Internet Success

There’s a lot of ways to make money online. Interestingly, most of them involve having no idea how to make money online. Take me, for example — the guy writing this article. I’m a professional writer, and I work for organic SEO marketing writing about a subject that I’ve studied for years — SEO.

But I write about it precisely because I’m not really comfortable executing it. They have other people who DO SEO. But those people, in turn, aren’t really comfortable owning a website and making money off of it. They know the techniques for getting websites listed, but the chances that they have a website themselves that they make money from is actually pretty slim.

In turn, the guy who owns the website makes money off of it, but he would never call himself an expert in making money online, because he outsources his SEO to us, and most of what he knows about SEO comes from people like me. We’re all interconnected and interdependent, and none of us really knows “how to make money online”.

There is, however, a single skill that, if you master it, will allow you to make money online directly. That skill is article writing and distribution. If you learn how to write a damn good article, spin it, and distribute it among several article directories with the correct backlinking structure, you can survive on that for years.

The reason is simple: article directories rank well on their own. That means that you don’t need a website of your own to get your words and ideas in front of other people. You just need a few good backlinks to get your article up in the SERPs. You can easily get those backlinks by spinning your article and submitting it to different article directories, backlinking it to your original, high-ranking article.

Then, all you need is a way to turn the backlink in that initial article into money. If you do own a business with a website, it’s easy (and organic SEO marketing will be happy to do it for you!). If not, you have to get creative — but that’s your job. I’m just a writer.
